Hawzah News Agency- A group of professors and students of the University of Religions and Denominations visited Hormozgan province and met with Hujjat al-Islam Mohammad Ebadizadeh, the representative of Iran’s Supreme Leader in Hormozgan province, and Friday Prayer Imam of Bandar Abbas.

In this meeting, Hujjat al-Islam Ebadizadeh welcomed the cultural ambassadors of the University of Religions and Denominations and said,” communication, interactions and field trips are a clear example of Jihad of Explanation, which the Supreme Leader has emphasized many times; sometimes the benefits and effectiveness of such field trips are far greater than the seminars and conferences that are held even internationally.”

He added,” The Supreme Leader's emphasis on the issue of jihad of explanation is for the same reason that our students observe the achievements of the Islamic system in all aspects, and the blessing of these field trips give hope to our youth and increase their motivation for their presence in the future of the country.”

Friday Prayer Imam of Bandar Abbas stated,” Another mission that the Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei highlights is the role and position of scientific and academic centers in raising the level of society's awareness, and the activities of the University of Religions and Denominations are exactly what we need today for our civilizational developments.”

The representative of the religious jurist in Hormozgan province noted,” The issue of proximity between Islamic religions is one of the ideals of the Late Imam Khomeini (RA) and the supreme leader of the revolution and is not a rhetorical issue; Therefore, we should boost rapprochement from our own country and take it outside the Iranian society in order to expand our mission since it’s a great mission in bringing together Islamic religions within our society.”
